hello!
I'm the founder of J.Maddin Jewellery. I create unique custom-made pieces of jewellery with love and by hand. I was bitten by the jewellery bug in 2002 after moving into a gorgeous apartment above the enchanting Made You Look Jewellery Gallery & Studio in Parkdale, Toronto. I took a leap from the Environmental Design program at OCAD to the goldsmith program at George Brown College and within a couple of years, I was happily ensconced among the designers in the studio downstairs from my home.
I love my job, love collaborating with clients, and take pride in my technical and creative growth over the years, an achievement made possible by working with such wonderful peers within the jewellery community and by the support of my incredible family. As my daughters grow, I look forward to them witnessing first hand how my passion drives my progress as an artist and entrepreneur. I hope my example ignites their confidence to launch themselves down their own individual paths towards an equally gratifying experience.
